For at least four days it has not been possible to insert YouTube video cards in Sway. I get the error message: "This service isn't talking to us now. :( Try again shortly - they'll come around."

    My current workaround is to delete the section of embed code:

    allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture"

    It makes no sense whatsoever for a Microsoft agent not to have the ability to initiate a ticket or request that Microsoft fix a verified, universal malfunction in one of its Office 365 apps.

    What is the point of this official Microsoft community help forum, then? And why wouldn't Microsoft want to resolve/fix this malfunction as soon as possible for all its customers? This is not an individual issue: it is a universal bug.

    Someone in management needs to reassess and improve customer service.

    And, BTW, I tried the embed workaround before I posted my original comment. It doesn't work either. You should have tried that too before suggesting it.

    Something is preventing YouTube videos from being embedded or inserted into Sways whereas it worked easily for years. What changed?

    Agreed, this is inexcusable. How do you escalate this to 'proper channels'? Where do you find proper channels?

    Thank you!!! This actually worked. Took the embed code from youtube share menu, used the embed type card in sway and deleted that piece of the code you mentioned above. THANK YOU!

    I have been experiencing precisely the same issues for the past five days or so. It is very frustrating, particularly when I have been such a loyal Sway user since its inception and I go out of my way to promote Sway to my colleagues. It is a universal problem and Microsoft should be rushing to fix their 'best kept secret' - Sway. Sway deserves much more attention from Microsoft than it gets. I don't think that it has had improvements or an upgrade for years now. :(
