Can I buy office home and student 2021 in a country, redeem it there and use it in another country

I would like to buy Microsoft office home and student for my laptop but since I'm currently not in my country, can I use the office home and student purchase when I go back to my country?

    Hi, You can only redeem Microsoft Office in the Country or Region it was purchased. You will get an error message if you try to redeem your Office in another Country/Region. See: Office product key error "This product key isn't meant for your region" (microsoft.com) NOTE with Office 365 you will not be able to renew your subscription in another Country/Region. see: Can you save buying Microsoft 365 from another country? - Office Watch (office-watch.com)

    Yes, you can buy Office anywhere as long as you redeem it where you are. For example, if you’re in Country A, you purchase Office and redeem the key, this will activate Office on your device. If you leave Country A to Country B, you will still be able to use the Office you purchased because it has been activated on your computer.

    The restrictions is only with the activation as the keys are geo-locked so to answer your question, yes, you can still use it in your country as long as you redeem the key where you purchased it.
