Unable to move questions in Microsoft forms/Questions stuck in the last section

I am creating a form and when I add questions to one section (section 4), it immediately goes to the very last section (section 9). When I try to move it to the correct section, it goes back to the end. Even using the up arrow doesn't work. At this point, I am unable to add any new questions to the form as I cannot move them to the correct sections. Duplicating questions has the same problem. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I found a workaround. I add the questions before the Lickert scale and then move the Lickert scale question, rather than trying to put the additional question where I want it. This seems to be working.

    Hi,

I am having the exact same problem. No matter what browser I use - Chrome, Safari or Edge - I get the same thing. I've used Microsoft Forms for a while and never had this issue. But now, whenever I try to add a question in the middle of a form, it automatically sends it to the end. And, if I try to use the up or down arrows, it works for a bit, then sends it to the bottom again. This seems to be a new problem. K

I'm having the same issue, but finding it's only resisting adding questions or sections after a Lickert Scale question... it'll let me move and add questions anywhere else in the form.

All of my questions are Likert, so this workaround doesn't solve it for me. However, I did find a way to do this by using the 3-dots above the question I want to move. I click and hold the three dots above the question I want to move until all the questions collapse. While still holding the mouse down, I then move the question where I want it and then release the mouse button to expand the questions. This works each and every time.
