Hi,
I'm trying to fill the O365- Exchange connector with all the necessary details.
I am using an incoming SMTP- Connector. Settings:
From: Your org To: O365
Verification policy: By verifying IP address of the sending server [...]
Adding IPv4- Addresses works fine, but when it comes to adding an IPv6- address, I get the following error:
"Please enter a valid single IP address or multiple IP addresses in CIDR notation"
I have tried the following formats without luck:
Any ideas why this fails?

Hmmm that is interesting - on the operational side, the smtp- client tries to connect to smtp.office365.com via ipv6, because the dns- entry of smtp.office365.com is (also) resolving to IPv6- Addresses:
Is there an IPv4- only DNS Entry for the smtp- server of office365?
It does not really make sense to host an smtp- server with ipv6 without enabling connectors to configure ipv6 access to it - or am I missing something?
Dear Chris,
Good day! We are glad to help you here.
We noticed that @NoOneCan responded you with the proper details. Currently, set up IPv6 is infeasible in exchange connector, If you still want to set up this, please leave your precious feedback on our dedicated feedback channel: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/ our developer might will make IPv6 be available to use in the future.
Sincerely
