I have a Mac and an Office 365 subscription. However, I am not able to take advantage of these new functions in Excel. Can someone assist me in how to use these for a Mac.

It appears that the blogger you were referred to was a bit premature. This is an excerpt from the official Microsoft Tech Community Excel blog published in March. It seems to be applicable in regard to these new functions... apparently they didn't make the cut:

    Availability

These functions are currently available to users running Beta Channel, Version 2203 (Build 15104.20004) or later on Windows and Version 16.60 (Build 22030400) or later on Mac.

Don’t have it yet? It’s probably us, not you.

Features are released over some time to ensure things are working smoothly. We highlight features that you may not have because they’re slowly releasing to larger numbers of Insiders. Sometimes we remove elements to further improve them based on your feedback. Though this is rare, we also reserve the option to pull a feature entirely out of the product, even if you, as an Insider, have had the opportunity to try it.

Microsoft seldom hesitates to announce new toys added to the Insider BETA Channel but rarely publicizes what they have withdrawn.

    Hi Leslie,

I'm Michelle and I'd be glad to help you out with your query or concern.

On March 16th, 2022, Microsoft Excel Team released 14 brand new functions which you can read here. Everything you need to know on how to use these features is on this article:

Note: This is a non-Microsoft website. The page appears to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it

I hope this information helps you. If you have any questions, please do let me know and I'll be more than happy to assist you further with this.

    Best Regards,

    Michelle
