Visio Professional - default font style pt and color

Hello,

Is it possible in Visio Professional to set a default font style, size, and color?

    Dear Rudy,

    Generally, you can follow the steps below to apply the default font style, size, and color to a Visio template file.

    1. Click File > Options > Advanced > scroll down to the end and select Run in developer mode. The Developer tab will show up in the Tools ribbon.
    2. In the Developer tab, check Drawing Explorer.
    3. In Drawing Explorer, Expand Styles, right click on Normal > Define Styles > click Text, then modify text font and color. Click OK.
    4. Save this blank file as template .vsdx. Click File > Save As > Browse a location, type in the name, select the type as Visio Template (.vstx).
    5. Click File > Options > Save, add the new template location in the default personal templates location.
    6. Re-open Visio, you will see the template under Personal.

    I suggest you try it in your environment to see and let us know the result.
