Convert PPT to PDF

Hello,

My platform is Windows 10 Pro.

Since a couple of days I cannot convert PPT presentations to PDF. With other Office programs (Word, Excel) there is no problem. But with PowerPoint every time I click "save as Adobe PDF" it says "An unexpected error occurred. PDFMaker was unable to produce the Adobe PDF". For Adobe, I have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2022.002.20191.

What causes this and is there a solution?

Thanks and regards,

Danker

While you're sorting out the problem with the Adobe PDFmaker, you can save PDFs by choosing File | Save As and selecting PDF as the Save As type.

This is often way faster than The Adobe Way.

    Hi Asher,

I followed all steps you described. Office is now reinstalled, and there are no more problems with the PDFMaker. All works fine.

    Thank you so much!

    Cheers,

    Dear Dschaareman,

Yes please do, you can use the steps below:

Please download the uninstall support tool using the link below:

    https://aka.ms/SaRA-officeUninstallFromPC

Follow the steps to open the download according to your browser, and when you're prompted in the Application Install window, select Install, and then I agree for the Microsoft Services Agreement.

From the Uninstall Office products window, select the version of Office you want to uninstall, and then select Next.

Follow the prompts on the remaining screens and when prompted, restart your computer.

After you restart your computer, the uninstall tool automatically re-opens to complete the final step of the uninstall process. Follow the remaining prompts.

To reinstall please use the steps below:

Go to www.office.com and if you're not already signed in, select Sign in.

Sign in with the account you associated with this version of Office. This account can be a Microsoft account, or work or school account. I forgot the account I use with Office

After signing in, follow the steps that match the type of account you signed in with.

From the Office home page select Install Office.

Select Install (or depending on your version, Install Office>).

    Hi Asher,

I have already done that (several times), via control panel, modify/uninstall. Didn't resolve the problem.

Or should I now completely uninstall office and reinstall it?

    Cheers,

    Danker
