no mailings tab in word

i have ms 365 & the word doc has no mailings tab.Found an answer but don't get it & question closed.

It seems unlikely that this tab would not be enabled, but if it is, you can reenable it as follows:

  1. Right-click on the Quick Access Toolbar and choose Customize the Ribbon.
  2. In the ensuing dialog, in the right-hand panel, click the Mailings box to check it.
  3. Click to add any other missing tabs.
  4. Click OK to close the dialog.

Great except where is the "Quick Access Toolbar"???

    Hi Gayle

    There is no mailings tab in the online version of Word, only in the desktop apps.

    Differences between using a document in the browser and in Word

    It cannot be added in the online version by the user.

    While it's good to know about the Quick Access Toolbar, there are two other ways to get to the dialog mentioned in your step 2:

    • Right-click anywhere on the ribbon or on any of the tabs that are visible, and choose Customize the Ribbon.
    • Click the File tab, click Options in the left-hand column,

    and then click Customize Ribbon on the left side of the dialog.
