If an Office application such as Word or Excel isn’t working correctly, sometimes restarting it will fix the problem. If that doesn’t work, you can try repairing it. When you’re done, you might need to restart your computer.
- Close all Office applications.
- Search for the control panel in the search bar on the taskbar, and click enter.
- Choose a category view.
- In the Programs section, click uninstall a program and search for office 365.
- Right-click Microsoft Office 365 and select Modify.
- Select Online Repair. When prompted for User Account Control, select Yes.
When it is done, Restart your PC.
If that does not help, then you might remove all traces of the Office installation by downloading the fixit from the following article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501
save it to your local download and run it.
Then reinstall Office by logging into www.office.com/myaccount with your registered email address and click Install Office.
BEFORE REMOVING THE OFFICE INSTALLATION, MAKE SURE YOU ARE ABLE TO LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT AND THAT OFFICE IS ASSOCIATED!
Hope you will not face the issue again.
I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I’ll be glad to assist you further.
Best regards
Gunasekar N
