How do I move my files from my school Microsoft to my personal Microsoft on a Mac?

I have many documents on my school Microsoft and would like to move them to my personal Microsoft on a Mac computer. How do I do this?

    Hello KMS6,

    You can also open Office Home and a student account on the web browser.

    First I suggested you to download the files to MAC.

    Once done,

    https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/onedrive/download

    Sign in with your personal account. That is the account you use for purchasing Home and student 2021.

    But you will not get 1TB of storage. You have to buy additional storage plans for the account Home and student 2021.

    Once purchased, you can upload the files again to your Personal account. You will only get 5Gb of free storage.

    Thanks for answering but I want to buy "Office Home & Student 2021" That way I don't have to be on the internet to retrieve my files. How would I transfer my files to that?

    Hello KMS6,

    I’m Gunasekar and I will be happy to help you with your question, I am a Microsoft consumer like you.

    There is no easy way to migrate from one to the other. They use different technology for OneDrive and Outlook. It is basically a manual process. However, your school account will expire after graduation. So, the best recommendation is this,

    It takes just an hour to do the process.

    1. Open the safari browser on MAC.
    2. Log in to www.onedrive.com/ and sign in with your School Microsoft account.
    3. Download all the files to MAC.

    Then Download the OneDrive App for Mac, Android, or iOS – Microsoft OneDrive

    Sign in with your personal account.

    Sync all the downloaded files from the school account. After that, Onedrivve will automatically backup all your files to your personal account and you will be good.
