Hi after purchasing a new lenova laptop and Microsoft 365 Personal, I installed the 365 and I can open a new word document and save it, however, I cannot open a new excel document as it keeps saying Accept the license agreement. I have read and accepted the Learn More and View agreement, but then I have to close down the page telling me to accept the licence agreement and then when I re try to open excel, I keep getting the same message again. Its probably something silly but I cannot work out what to do. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

    Hi Di

I'm Anna and I'd be happy to help you out with your question.

Sorry, you had to experience this:

    Cause

This behavior occurs if your user account does not have permission to modify the Microsoft Windows Registry.

    Resolution

To resolve this behavior, follow these steps:

Log on to the computer by using a user account that has administrative credentials.

Start an Office program, such as Word or Excel. The End User License Agreement dialog box appears.

Click Start, scroll to the list of all programs, then click on Microsoft Office, right-click an Office program, click Run as administrator, and then click Continue.

    Click I Accept.

Exit the Office program that you just started.

Repeat step 2 to step 4 for the other Office programs that still prompt you with the EULA.

    Best Regards,
