How can you increase the menu size in Word for Mac for high resolution monitors?

Hi all,

I plug my MacBook Air into a 4K monitor. But after weeks of searching I can't seem to find out how to increase the menu size on Word (ribbon etc).

On Mac you often press command and + to increase menu sizes in programs like Safari but it doesn't work for Word. Accessibility doesn't work either and I don't want to decrease the resolution to make everything bigger. I would just like to increase the menu size by a little bit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    There's nothing in the program for that purpose.

    What you may find useful are some of the Accessibility features provided by the OS, specifically the preferences for Zoom & Display.

    It is a shame and hopefully it will be something they will include in future changes. For now, I guess I'll just press my nose up to the screen every time I need to read the menu :)

    Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community.

    I use glasses so I understand what you mean. Sometimes it strains the eyes but please understand that there is not settings for increasing the size of the menu in Word. Kindly see link for similar inquiry with helpful information for alternative/workaround that could be helpful.
