The word functional resume template I am using isn't allowing me to click on a highlighted area to enter my information, I have used other resume templates that work this way. Am I doing something wrong?

That template uses Content Controls with "placeholder text" that relates to the purpose of each Control.

If you click in any of the "placeholder text" items and start typing, the "placeholder text" will be replaced by the text that you type.

Do not click before the "placeholder text". If you do that, the "placeholder text" will not be replaced by the text that you type.

I clicked in the placeholder text, it highlights it, but it won't let me type anything in it. I have used other resume templates and never had any problems. Maybe it's a bad template?
