NYC DOE office 365

Hello,

We have installed the office 365 on our personal laptop for our daughters remote learning in March 2020. I have noticed that ever since, the NYC DOE has taken control over our laptop.

Now that we don’t need the remote learning format, we would like to uninstall and return the laptop back to its normal state. Having the control of the NYC DOE on our personal computer is really surprising. It doesn’t seem right.

It would be great if you can help on this matter.

Thank you.

    Dear Mikayla,

Greetings! Thank you for posting in Microsoft forum.

We need a bit more information to understand the scenario, so we can provide relevant information. You mentioned NYC DOE has taken control over your computer; may I know where/ how it appears? I mean where do you see that it is controlled by some else, could you please provide us with the screenshot showing exactly what you referring to?

Also, please provide us with the following information:

    1. Please provide the screenshot of Microsoft 365 Product Information. To get this screenshot, open Word or Excel on your system, click File>Account, capture the screenshot of all the information mentioned under Product Information.
    2. Your OS version.

We will look forward to your reply. Stay safe and stay healthy.

    Sincerely,
