I bought office for MAC , when i install i get and Error Msg Office does not support MAC

I bought Microsoft Office Home & Business 2021 | One-time purchase for 1 PC or Mac |. on amazon, i paid for it, and download. After down load i went to officesetup.exe. to install. I received an error msg saying " you can open the application "officesetup.exe" because microsoft windows is not supported by Mac." i tried to navigate help, but dont see this error or solution. I have a Macbook Air, 2020 16ram 1TB How do install on my mac if its saying mac is not supported but purchase was for mac ?

HELP !!!

    First of all, you have to understand that, .exe applications will not run in MAC OS, it is designed only for Windows operating systems. If you are installing it on MAC, the file name should be " Microsoft Office installer. pkg file".

    Next, Did you receive the product key for Microsoft office Home & Business 2021?

    If yes, follow the steps below to install Microsoft Office Home & Business 2021 for mac:

    https://setup.office.com/

    1. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
    2. Enter the product key.
    3. During the download select MAC.
    4. Install the . PKG office apps.

    If that didn't work, you can click the link below and download the Office Home and Business 2021 installer directly,

    https://officecdnmac.microsoft.com/pr/C1297A47-86C4-4C1F-97FA-950631F94777/MacAutoupdate/Microsoft_Office_16.53.21091200_BusinessPro_Installer.pkg

    1. Download the installer.
    2. Sign in with your account.
    3. Enter the activation key.

    Your product should be activated.

    If none worked, Contact Microsoft support:

    1. Select Microsoft 365.
    2. Click Get Home support.
    3. Click Get support in your browser.
    4. Type in Account and click Contact support in the bottom pane.

    Connect to the agent and verify the key if it is already used or if it is for MAC.
