Trying to block a sender in inbox outlook on android. Block sender optio isn't showing in the drop down tab.

When I wanted to block a sender in outlook inbox on my android. I pressed 3 dots and drop down tab used to say report sender, open an select blick sender. Not showing anymore. If you delete it is going to archive instead of deleted.

Any help???

This is an ongoing problem from trying to delete a spam in inbox. There was the choice to report sender and then block. But I was getting the message" can't block sender from same organisation" Now can't even try to block a sender????

    I looked on my android.

    If you are using outlook.com or another exchange accounts, adding names to blocked sender syncs back to the server and applies to all new messages

    Thank you for your reply. On my android the block sender used to be an option.When I click on report junk now, only has Jun or phishing. This has suddenly changed, as block sender was a choice. Not sure what to do now. I have reported problem to microft outlook, but no response.

    I have a Hotmail address and use outlook app on my android.

    If I simply move the email to junk will this stop future emails.

    Why has the option to block sender not showing in outlook mobile app anymore?

    My email address is showing in the email.

    Sometimes spam emails have same address but with different content. Is it best to report these emails?

    Select report junk on the menu in the upper right- that should open options at the bottom for junk, phishing, and block sender. The first two report as junk or phishing and the last just blocks the sender.

    You can... report junk sends a report and should move the message to the junk folder. I usually just block sender or just delete the message. Most spammers do not reuse addresses so blocking addresses don't work well.

    When you block a sender the email should be moved to the Junk email folder.

    But I was getting the message" can't block sender from same organisation" << Are you using an outlook.com or office 365 business mailbox? Is the sender's domain or reply to address in your domain?
