Found at the top of my Excell spread sheet. I have a password generator that generates passwords. The sign in for the above will not let me paste a 16-character password for sign in. Now what?

    Hi Jrowla,

I'm Daniel and I'd be happy to help you out with your query.

I apologize for any inconvenience caused. (Note: Some users have been experiencing a problem recently where they are unable to upload their documents to OneDrive too.)

I will be asking few questions to understand this.

-- What version of Excel are you running?

-- is your Office version up to date please?

    -- Are you using a Work/school account?

-- Did you try to delete Office cached files already?

-- Lastly, if you haven't tried to use credential manger. Please do that with these steps, it should help.

    1. Open Excel > Open the File menu > Do to Account.
    2. Sign out of all existing accounts – under User Information > Close the Office program.
    3. Now open Control Panel > User Accounts > Credential Manager > Windows Credentials.
    4. Under Generic Credentials, expand Office credentials.
    5. Click on the Remove link to delete them from the Windows Credentials Manager.
    6. Then, open Excel > File > Account.
    7. Sign in with your Office 365 credentials.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll be glad to assist you further.

    Best Regards,

    Daniel

    Hi Jrowla,

I'm glad the issue is resolved now.

Check for the Microsoft Office Upload Center icon in the system tray > Then right click on it & select settings > then click delete cached files.

Since the issue has been solved, you can just skip the step altogether.

    Regards

    Daniel

I was successful in running Credential Manager and clearing; "UPLOAD FAILED You are required to sign in to upload your changes to this location".

It is no longer a factor.

I am unable to display Microsoft Office Upload Center, how do I get it to display?

    Hi Jrowla,

    Thanks for the update.

The issue still persists after using Credential Manager correct?.

Okay, The next solution to try would be to delete cached files in the Microsoft upload center. Here's how to do that

-- Please right click on the Microsoft upload center icon > Settings > Then click delete cached files.
