Adding a Payment Method in Nigeria

I am currently trying to subscribe to the Office 365 package for family but all efforts to add my card details have been frustrating. I keep getting the feedback that the card details I entered didn't match the details on the card. I assume that since the subscription fee is quoted in naira, there should be an option to pay with naira on a platform like Microsoft.

I have tried this 3 different times with the same error message.

Kindly advise.

Regards

I suppose they rather prefer customers use a "cracked" version of the softwares than provide a local payment solution for an official version.

Good day, yes I found a post on Twitter that helped.

The link to that post is posted here for anyone who is still having issues with paying for their subscriptions with a Nigerian bank card.

    Hello Akeem A,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I am a Microsoft 365 user just like you, I hope you are doing well?

I understand your frustration but Nigerian local card does not support international payments. I recommend you try other payment options like PayPal.

Please let me know if you need more assistance.

Has anyone found a way around this? None of my cards are working.

Same problem. Would like to know too if anyone has found a solution. I have tried with both Naira/ FX denominated cards. None worked.
