MS Lists doesn't display choice formatting in gallery view

I am experiencing the same issue outlined here:

Choice pill color formatting is only shown in grid/list view, not in gallery view. Below is a screenshot showing the issue.

This IS a multi-select field, which the previous user said they found a workaround for. However I tried the workaround and could not get it to work. This is simply a bug and should be resolved by MS without requiring a workaround.

    Hi Waqas,

    I am also experiencing the same problem as J L 42. The pill box formatting does not come across in gallery view when the column allows multiple choices to be selected. Please see the screenshots below. I can also not get the workaround mentioned previously in the thread to work so I was wondering if there is something else to be done on my end or if MS/Sharepoint is working to fix the issue?

    Thank you, can you select multiple choices on a single card and send a new screenshot of the formatting? The issue is that when there is more than once choice selected it formats as plain text with commas rather than with the colored bubbles. Your example only has a single choice selected for each card.

    As per your description, please let us cooperate and please don’t worry, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation.

    Based on my test result, in SharePoint online list I can see the display choice formatting in gallery view. I added multiple choice in a list. Here is my test screenshot for your reference:

    Since I got the different behavior than yours, to check your behavior, could you please confirm does this problem is happened to specific SharePoint online list? if possible, could you please crease a new list (for test purpose) and verify the result with me.

    Also, please confirm does another user in your organization meet the same behaviour as well? it will help for us to narrow down your problem.
