Sign Out from OneDrive devices

Question

How do you remotely sign out from OneDrive, so that you stop the sync process?

Scenario

A Laptop, L1, has got OneDrive and is syncing nicely.

Apple iPhone has downloaded OneDrive, signed in, and is also syncing nicely there.

If I loose my iPhone, I want to make sure nobody deletes any file as it will also delete it from the cloud without me knowing (and I could loose everything if I do not notice it for 30 days).

Is there an interface/page where I can see which devices OneDrive is syncing with? And then I can unlink/signout from there?

Humble Request

Before anybody suggest going to https://account.microsoft.com/devices, just to let you know it does NOT show you the iPhone over there. Only those devices are shown where you have installed MS Office applications, not OneDrive.

Thanks

    Hi

I'm Idris and I'd be happy to help you out with your question.

From Office for PC In any Office app, go to File > Account (or Office Account in Outlook) > Sign out. Close all Office apps. Shows the Sign out link in the backstage view of Office on Windows

From Office for Mac In any Office app, select the name of the Office app in the top menu. Select Sign Out. Quit out of all Office apps. Shows the option to Sign Out in the backstage view on Office for Mac

On Office Online In the upper-right-hand corner of your web browser, select your picture or initials. Select Sign Out. Shows the Sign out option for Office for the web

On Office mobile apps For iPhones and iPads: In any Office app, tap Account > tap the account you're using. Tap Sign Out > Sign Out again to confirm. Close all Office apps. Shows the option to Sign Out in Office for iOS

For Android or Chromebooks: In any Office app, from the Recent screen, tap the person icon. Tap your name (don't tap View Profile). Tap Sign Out > Sign Out again to confirm. Close all Office apps. Shows the option to Sign out of Office on an Android device

From any web browser If you don't have access to the PC or Mac where you're signed in, you can sign out remotely from a web browser. It can take up to 72 hours for Office to detect that you've signed out.

From any device, go to your Microsoft account, Installs page and sign in using your Microsoft account, if prompted. Under Devices, locate the device where you want to sign out of Office. Select Sign out of Office.

    Best Regards,

    Idris
