This pops up as soon as I try to connect and import the data from excel workbook to the sql server. shoot in some help. Thanks.

    Checkout this video, it really works!!!!!!!

    For those who don't want to watch the video. The solution is to install the 32 bit Access Database Engine. But Windows won't allow you to do this saying you already have the 64 bit version installed, so to workaround this run the installer with the /quiet flag.

    accessdatabaseengine.exe /quiet

    Then it should work immediately, no need to restart anything.

    Thanks Robinson, I have same problem and have Access installed already as part of Office 365, and it's still not working

    Anybody knows if anything else could be changed

    This error indicates that the Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 is not installed, download and install the Microsoft Access Database Engine from this link should fix this problem.

    INSTEAD OF INSTALL "Microsoft Access", I WOULD SUGGEST CONVERT YOUR 'EXCEL' FILE INTO 'CSV' FORMAT AND TRY TO ADD THAT CSV FILE AND WORK ON IT. IT'S REALLY VERY HELPFUL.
