Microsoft 365 Subscription from Amazon

Hello, I already had a Family Microsoft 365 subscription that was set to expire in march 2023. I just bought a new subscription that was available on Amazon. I was under the impression from the reading I did that this should have stacked on top of my current subscription but instead I show one expiring march 2023 still and now another expiring in Oct 2023. I used the same microsoft account when activating. Is there something I need to do to get this to stack at the end of my current contract which should then push my subscription out to March 2024? Thanks in advance!

I have the same issue, I already had a Family Microsoft 365 subscription, through Amazon.com that was set to expire on December 30, 2022. I just bought a new subscription that was available on Amazon (a prime day early access deal) and now I show a new subscription expiring on October 11, 2023, and my original subscription is still showing as expiring on December 30, 2022. I contacted Amazon support via chat and they told me they could not extend my original subscription a year to December 30, 2023 and my only option was to cancel the order I just put in for the subscription set to expire on October 11, 2023 and they would provide a full refund. Given that the prime deal was $42.95, instead of $99.99 for a 12-month subscription, I will not be cancelling the order. It is so unfortunately that Amazon's system managing your Microsoft Office 365 subscription has this limitation. I guess they are wanting everyone to just auto-renew at full price and cannot extend a subscription by buying it on sale. 😒

I have not activated the new subscription showing as expiring on October 11, 2023 yet, so I am wondering if I wait until December 29, 2022 to activate the new one (currently showing on October 11, 2023), and cancel the old one (which currently expires on December 30, 2022), I'm not sure what will happen.

Yup. Why would they want current customers to get a deal when they can give those out to the new customers? Makes sense.!!

MarcSH0, sorry for the inconvenience though.

    MarcSH0,

I have not activated the new Microsoft Office 365 Family subscription on Amazon showing as expiring on October 11, 2023 yet, so I if I wait until December 29, 2022 to activate the new one (currently showing on October 11, 2023), and cancel the old one so it doesn't auto renew (which currently expires on December 30, 2022), Do you know if the subscription end date on the newer subscription will change from October 11, 2023 to a year from the day it is activated, which will be December 29, 2023 ?
