Error code 30204-44 when trying to install MS project 2019

I tried to install the 64bit version for MS project professionals 2019 but get this error.

Microsoft 365 and Office | Install, redeem, activate | For business | Windows

    I do have the same issue.

    I am trying to install Visio 2016 Professional becayuse it is the only license I have, but in my case, I have MS Office 2021 installed.

    How can I solve the error?

    Update: Hey, if someone else has this same error, this is fixed by uninstalling all the office software and start installing everything again, but starting from the oldest software to the newest. Installing older software while having newer releases/versions, causes this error.

    From your post, I understand you are getting an error in installing MS Project professional 2019.

    You might get an error if you try installing MS Project professional 2019 on a computer that has Microsoft 365 or Office 2021/2019/2016 installed.

    Before I can provide any suggestion, I would need few information to understand the scenario. May I know if you have another version of Office suite (such as Office 365 or Office 2021/2019) installed on your computer? Also, please confirm from where and how you are installing Project?

    The computer I purchased had Office 365 installed. This was most likely causing my error code of 30204-44 when trying to load Office 2016 from CD. I had copied some office files, excel, powerpoint, etc over from the old computer. I opened one of them and was prompted to try the trial version of Office 365 or enter my Product Key Code. When I entered the code, it was recognized as Office 2016, it was accepted and the system even updated to the latest revisions of 2016. All without loading from my CD. Hope this helps.
