There could be something wrong with your files.
Do an online repair and try again.
Repair office
- Right Click on Start > Select Installed Apps or Apps and Features
- Scroll down until you see Microsoft 365 Apps
- Click the three buttons beside the Microsoft 365 Apps
- Select Modify
- Click Online Repair (this will take a while to be done)
- Restart the device

If after the online repair it still fails, run an sfc scan, see the steps below.
Click start and type CMD. Click Run as Administrator and in the terminal window type
sfc /scannow
Please wait for it to complete and reboot.
