How can I open Office 365 files using MS 365?

I get no error messages. My Office 365 apps are separate and loaded locally on my Windows 10 Desktop computer. When I click on any of them they spin for a moment and remain unopened. I suspect my having them as separate apps on my computer is the problem. I cannot open any of them which is quite unnerving!

How do I fix that?

The apps are designed as separate apps but just packaged as a suite. They are supposed to be installed as separate files.

I agree with the recommendation to try an online repair.

Hello ColoGoGo,

Thank you for coming to the forum.

There could be something wrong with your files.

Do an online repair and try again. Repair office

Right Click on Start > Select Installed Apps or Apps and Features
Scroll down until you see Microsoft 365 Apps
Click the three buttons beside the Microsoft 365 Apps
Select Modify
Click Online Repair (this will take a while to be done)
Restart the device

If after the online repair it still fails, run an sfc scan, see the steps below.

Click start and type CMD. Click Run as Administrator and in the terminal window type sfc /scannow

Please wait for it to complete and reboot.
