MS word, How do you attach a caption to a table, So that it follows the table.

I can make group out of picture and it's caption. After grouped they move together and don't lose eich other. But can't find a way to do the same with a table and it's caption..??

    Microsoft has not provided any way to group a table (or anything else that isn't a graphic object) with its caption, so we need to be inventive.

    Add an extra row to the table, and move the caption in to a cell in that row. Use the Borders & Shading dialog to turn off the borders of the row, except for the border that it shares with the adjacent "real" row. It may be necessary to reapply the Caption style to the caption and/or to remove an extra paragraph mark from the end of the caption.
