Hi, I am currently working on my CV in MSWord 10 and I have it in a table form. I have come across the problem that after finishing the first page I somehow can not insert an extra page to continue writting my CV

Also I have a small pic that I need to place correctly, and I can not since the pic has to be in a text box and the layout menu is disabled.

What can I do about this?

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks

Tatyana

Normally Word adds a page when you type more text. Because you're using a table, you may have to set the table rows to break across pages to make that work. Use Table Design Layout>Properties. Choose the Row tab and check the option Allow row to break across pages.

There's no need to place a photo in a text box. Just float the photo on its own. After placing the picture, choose Picture Format>Position>More Layout Options. On the Text Wrapping tab, choose one of the options that works with the rest of your document. If you don't need to wrap text around the picture, choose In front of text, then click on OK. Then adjust the position of the photo.

If the Layout tab is permanently disabled, please try an Office repair: Repair an Office Application

    Hi Tatyana B,

My name is Tim and I’m sorry to see you’re experiencing issues. I will gladly assist you today.

To put a blank page into your Word document, place the cursor where you want the new page to begin and then click Insert > Blank Page. The blank page opens, ready for whatever you want to add.

    Does this solve the issue?
