Normally Word adds a page when you type more text. Because you're using a table, you may have to set the table rows to break across pages to make that work. Use Table Design Layout>Properties. Choose the Row tab and check the option Allow row to break across pages.
There's no need to place a photo in a text box. Just float the photo on its own. After placing the picture, choose Picture Format>Position>More Layout Options. On the Text Wrapping tab, choose one of the options that works with the rest of your document. If you don't need to wrap text around the picture, choose In front of text, then click on OK. Then adjust the position of the photo.
