How do I unlink/unsync two computers that share the same Microsoft account?

I have a pc that I use for a small business and just bought a new laptop for home. When setting up my laptop, I used the same Microsoft account as my pc. When installing, it asked whether I wanted to sync/transfer data from my pc or set up as 'new.' I selected 'new.' It said my Office 365 loaded and I was all set. Except when it finished, my screen had all of the same icons/shortcuts as my pc. If I try to delete them, it deletes all data EVERYWHERE. How do I unsync the new laptop from my pc and still take advantage of my Office 365 family subscription?

In Windows 11, go to Settings > Accounts > Windows Backup. Turn off the entry for Remember my preferences or remember my apps.

There is no 'sync your settings' option under 'accounts.' The new laptop uses Windows 11. I could not find that option anywhere.

    Hi I am Leon.

Kindly do the steps below if this works:

    1. Click the start menu, then click Settings
    2. Go to accounts, then select Sync your settings on the list.
    3. On the Sync your settings you can then toggle the on to off button to turn off your sync setting
