I purchased a font and installed it on my Mac via Font Book and it is not showing up in PowerPoint. These are the things I have done to try to get it to work:

  1. I have restarted my computer
  2. I have checked other applications and the font is working in those (Adobe CC, text edit, keynote, etc)

Why is it not working and how do I get it to work?

    Thank you Ravikumar Vadamalai!

I have done all those steps and still do not see the font in PowerPoint (I do see it in all my other non-microsoft applications)

Apologies for confusion. Could you please try to delete the app and try after reinstalling PowerPoint?

    Thank you!

Thank you for the reply! Sorry to know that issue is not resolved yet.

Could you please try to repair Microsoft Office, if you haven't tried reinstalling?

    1. Go to control panel -> installed applications and right click on "Microsoft Office.." 2. Select change 3. Select "Online repair" and proceed for clean installation.

    Regards, Ravikumar

    Hello,

Greetings for the day! I’m an Independent Advisor and Microsoft user like you. I'm glad to help you regarding your clarification.

Could you please make sure if you have followed below steps to add a font downloaded for PowerPoint MAC?

On your Mac, do any of the following:

    1. In the Font Book app , choose File > Add Fonts to Current User. In the window that appears, double-click the font file.
    2. Drag the font file to the Font Book app icon in the Dock.
    3. Drag the font file to the Font Book window.
    4. Double-click the font file in the Finder, then click Install in the dialog that appears.
    5. When you install a font, Font Book automatically validates or checks the font you’re installing for errors. Font Book also checks for duplicate fonts.
    6. Now try to reinstall Office apps or PowerPoint

Hi Ravikumar, I am on a mac. Do you mean the Control Center in Settings? If so I don't see that option.

Thank you for helping me out!
