Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
If I ever stop my subscription, it would be better to have Office already instead of having to buy Office again.

So I've been using Office 2010 for an eternity, and I was wondering if I should upgrade, I got a new PC recently and I need Office for school so should I buy a new copy of Office 2010, get Office 2021, or get some other version of Office?

I do have Microsoft 365, but I prefer Office 2010.
My school used to provide Office, but since then, they have switched to Google, I hate Google and I prefer to use Office on my laptop and desktop, I do have a Microsoft 365 subscription, so I can run Office 2021 but I prefer Office 2010 due to the design and it is what I grew up with.
Hi Jacob, first you should see if your school provides a free version of Office. You need your school email address try it if you have one. If not you should ask your school. If you do have a school email address try it here: Free Microsoft Office 365 for Schools & Students | Microsoft Education
Microsoft no longer supports Office 2010, so if you keep it be careful re security. However, the newer versions of Office are not much improvement of Office 2010, it is often said that Office 2010 was the best Office ever. However, you could purchase Microsoft Office Home and Student 2021 Buy Office Home & Student 2021 (PC or Mac) – Download & Pricing (microsoft.com) Or as you will see you could purchase a subscription (not sure about age as you will need a credit card)
