    Dear Wong Chiew Yen

Good day! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description, we have to tell you that Outlook for desktop supports all file formats that you want to open or attach to an email. Regarding your concern, opening .eml files is currently not available in the Outlook for Android due to a possible platform compatibility. However, it would really nice if we can open .eml files in Outlook for Android. We would appreciate if you will raise this to our Outlook team as feedback in Outlook · Community (microsoft.com) to make our products and services better for you and others.  It is the best platform for us to listen to your opinions and make our products better serve you and others. Your vote will increase the awareness coming from the related team. The user voting here can let us better understand what users want, so that we can better improve our products. In this way, they could add this as a new feature to improve Outlook for Android.

If you need any further assistance, please feel free to post back. We’re looking forward to your reply and will continue to help you all the time!

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Sincerely,

    Stacey | Microsoft Community Moderator
