How to get rid of Grammarly from Microsoft Word? I didn't install it!

I got an interesting message about Grammarly being installed onto Word.

It sure is interesting that my "admin" installed it, since I'm not on a work or school account.

As you can see I don't have the grammarly add-on myself.

And my "admin managed" one has it listed, but I can't do anything with it. As the screenshow show I am not even signed in. So how could this mythical "admin" even install it?

I didn't install it through whatever this "store" is either - I don't think it's Apple's App Store. I also wonder who this "oragnization" is (and why it's spelled with a z instead of using Australian English which is my installed language - seems suspicious).

Who is this "admin" who can manage my Microsoft Word on my behalf without me being signed in, without being a member of an "organization" (whatever that is), or without my ability to opt-in to or opt-out of.

How do I remove add-ins that are clearly prompting me to use them, clearly visibly appear on the primary tool bar, and connect me to third party services without my permission who I absolutely do not trust?

How do I prevent to automatic installation of add-ons to Microsoft products that I do not trust nor approve?

    HI again,

Of course checking with the Grammerly people would probably be the most productive way to get the right answer to your question. After all, it's their product.

    I clicked on Insert.

I clicked on My add-ins. It brought up this window. The popup is really long and cannot be resized..

Grammarly is not in my extension list so I click on ADMIN, and there it is.

I select Grammarly, as the instructions suggest.

There is no "three dots" menu that the instructions mention.

    Hi

Are you using a current version of Microsoft Office? It looks like from your screen shots.

You can remove all licenses and then start fresh. Use this tool:

How to remove Office license files on a Mac - Microsoft Support

Be sure to restart your Mac after removing the license files.

Maybe you are just mistakenly signed in to Office with a Work/School account instead of your personal?

Please verify that there is no old work/school account by navigating to Apple menu > System Preferences, then selecting Users & Groups. If you can see your old school account, kindly remove it from there and check the outcome.
