how do I check to see if my product key has been redeemed?

Hello I purchased a product key from a 3rd party company and wanted to check to see if the product key is still new without actually redeeming the product key. How would I go about doing this?

    You will have to contact Microsoft support to check if a product key is still valid

    https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact?linkquery=product%20key Click on contact support at the bottom Choose the product and services related to the issue and also the category Click on Confirm Then click on Chat with a support agent in your web browser
