Office 365 showing as Microsoft Office Mondo 2016, Activation Failed

I bought a new laptop that got an office license. after I activated windows, I failed to activate office 365, then I installed the pirated version of office and it worked. because I felt uncomfortable, I uninstalled the office and reset the laptop so I could activate the default office 365 again, but it still failed. conditions after resetting the laptop, when I open MS Office in the account section it looks as MS Office Mondo 2016, but in the Office version section it looks as Office 365. and now when I open Office it always pops up Activation Failed MS Office Mondo 2016.

I need a solution so that I can activate the Office 365 license built into the laptop. how is the solution? thanks.

    Please try to use the Microsoft uninstall support tool to uninstall all Office versions on your computer that might be causing the issue.

    1. Please download this: https://aka.ms/SaRA-officeUninstallFromPC
    2. Run the exe file
    3. From the Uninstall Office products window, select Office. Follow the prompts on the remaining screens and when prompted, restart your computer.
    4. After you restart your computer, the uninstall tool automatically re-opens to complete the final step of the uninstall process. Follow the remaining prompts.
    5. Reinstall your Office 365 at https://account.microsoft.com/services/

    Hi, thanks for your response,

    It seems you are getting this error because the pre-installed Office wasn't redeemed the first time you set up the computer.

    You may reach out to Microsoft support via live chat they are the ones who are able to verify if your device indeed has a preinstalled Office 365, you may need to provide some proof of purchases for them to be able to check it.

    1. Please click this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus
    2. Choose Microsoft office 365 > Get home support
    3. Type Talk to an Agent
    4. Scroll down and click on Contact Support, log in to your Microsoft account
    5. Choose your product
    6. Chat with a support agent in your web browser

    I have successfully reinstalled Microsoft office 365 and Microsoft office Mondo 2016 does not appear anymore, but a pop up appears "this account doesn't have office yet" in Microsoft office 365. I tried to create a new account and login but the activation failed. How can I activate my laptop's default office license?
