Microsoft Word - Notebook Layout

I remember I used a layout option in Word called "Notebook", where I was able to divide the content in the document into sections. I can't seem to find it now. Can someone please direct me to this layout option?

    Microsoft removed this layout from the Mac version. (It was never available in the Windows version, as far as I know.)

    You might be interested in knowing that the current editions of Word allow opening Notebook Layout [NBL] documents with limited support for that view. They cannot create new NBL documents, though.

    As an alternative take a look at the OneNote program included with Mac Office. Another option is to use Outline View in Word. See these articles re the latter:
