value not showing in text boxes

In my whole ppt-document I cannot see the set margins within a text box. They are blank. I can fill in a value and it adjusts to that value, but afterwards the values are still invisible. I am working in Powerpoint for Mac, version 16.66.66. I hope anybody can help with this problem!

If it's only one presentation, then that presentation has a corruption problem. Do you see this effect on all slides in the file, or just some of them?

    Hi Anna,

I did this, but the update says I can only update if I update the OS system. I don't want to do that. And this problem only occurs in the document I am working in; in other documents I do not have this issue ( I didn't have it at first either; somehow this happend while making new sheets). It must be something else if other documents do not have this issue. Do you know what else can be the problem?

    Best,
    jane

    Hi Jane

I'm Anna and I'd be happy to help you with your question. In this Forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

Sorry for the trouble this might have caused. Please try to update your Office version to the latest. That should probably fix the issue

I hope this helps ;-), let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions.

    Best Regards,

    Anna
