The color of the Excel cursor/crosshairs is white, so I can't see it against the background of the worksheet. How do I change it?

Hello: Thank you for your response. My question is in regard to the pointer/cursor in Excel which shows the location of your mouse on the worksheet. It is colored white, and matches the worksheet background, which is also white. So, it is very hard to see. I want to change it to any other color.

I'm not referring to the worksheet gridlines.

    Hi Adam S!

To change the color of the Excel Crosshairs/Cursor, Click File menu> Select Option> Select Advanced in the left plane> Scroll down to where you have gridlines and change the color to that which suit you.

I recommend you stick to the Automatic color, however, you have a choice to select what suit you.

Also, you can alight the entire cell> Give it a complete border and then change the border color for better visibility, however, unlike the gridline, the border line comes out with the printed Sheet when printed.

    Kind Regards, Shakiru

I'm on W11 and can change the mouse pointer style in the overall mouse settings. I have set mine to contrast with the background. Dark on a light background and light on a dark background.

Don't know if this is exclusive to W11 but it's not set in Excel, for sure.

    Hi Adam!

    Thank you for your feedback.

You may have to reset the Excel App and if that does not work, you will need to reinstall the Excel App.

To reset the excel app on your device:

Open the excel app> Go to settings> Tap on reset app to reset the App

if that does not fix that uninstall and reinstall the app.

    Kind Regards, Shakiru
