How to cope with limit of 25 users for the promotion of emails

Hello,

for the promotion of news posts, the maximum number of email recipients is limited to 25 people today. before this worked perfectly for >100. Change reports from MS show issues. Any ideas?

    Hi,

    We use this functionality regularly to send to our 700+ contacts. Normally we just split the list into two Promote emails. But yes, now it is limiting the Promote recipient list to maximum 25 recipients. This is illogical and surely must be a setting that was accidentally changed at Microsoft. Please advise.

    Hello,

    I have the same limitation of 25 email adresses when I want to send the news by Email .. and this is a recent change ... So we need a clarification from Microsoft.

    But as a solution you can send the News as email to yourself and after that forward the mail in outlook (you can also edit it before forward) to all your concerned users list. Hope that it can help someone ..

    Hello,

    we have the same issue in our environment.

    The "send to" by email in SharePoint Online will be useless if 25 is the limit set for sending mails.

    Hope this "glitch" will be removed soon again ( or a solution is provided somehow)

    Dear Prakash,

    thank you for the swift response.

    The issue appears not in Outlook, but in Modern SharePoint when promoting a news posting by email.

    A few weeks ago it was possible to add dozens of internal users of the company to the "Send To" input item and send.

    Today, we can add one hundred users and more, but clicking at "Send" bringt up said error message to reduce the users to a max of 25.

    Perhaps, something for your Sharepoint Team?

    Please note that Outlook does not have this limit of 25 users.

    This limit may be set by your ISP or Email Hosting provider.
