How can I sort this out? Your version of Excel allows you to read this threaded comment; however, any edits to it will get removed if the file is opened in a newer version of Excel.

    Hello Martin K,

    Thank you for coming to the forum. If you are using a previous version of Excel then you cannot remove this. You will need to ignore it.

    Are you planing on placing comments on the thread? If not, then ignore the message. If you are then that means you are not using the latest version of Excel and as the message said your comments will not be saved if a new version opens it, there is no work around that I know of

    So what version of Excel are you using, Excel 2016, 2019, 2021 or 365.
