    Hello Ak Sammy,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

In order to identify the cause of this problem, I hope you can follow my instructions.

Download and install OneDrive mobile client in your mobile phone and log in to your Microsoft account. Normally, you can see the file in the cloud on your mobile phone. Please try to download it through OneDrive mobile client.

If you can download it through the OneDrive client on your phone, the problem may be on your computer. However, if you cannot download it, the problem may be in the OneDrive.

    • If you cannot download this file, but other files can be downloaded normally, indicating that the file may be damaged.
    • However, if you find that all files in the cloud cannot be downloaded, there may be a temporary problem with the OneDrive server. You can wait for a while and try again, or you can change the network environment, such as using the 5G traffic instead of wireless.

If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best regards,

    Hi Mitchell,

    Thank you for your reply.

These error messages are what I receive on the Laptops/computers. Even if I use different computers and with VPN I still receive the same error messages. I can view the files on my phone as read only.

My Onedrive is link to my Office 365 and Word, Excel, etc. are working fine. In Word for instance my Onedrive is not connected as Connected services and I cannot connect it. I have reinstall Onedrive, reset it many times, but still have problems with my files as indicated in my original explanation.

I have the feeling that someone with higher rights/permissions should just reset my Onedrive....

    Thanks

    Ak

    Hi Ak Sammy,

I know that these problems appear on your laptop, so I need to confirm whether the data in the cloud is abnormal. Can you access OneDrive through OneDrive APP of mobile terminal and download the files you need normally?

If yes, and the file is normal, this at least proves that the OneDrive cloud storage file is intact, you can also try to download through the web side. This is a temporary measure if you need to use these files.

However, if you can't download it on your phone, the file may be corrupted, or there may be a temporary server exception.

I notice that you have tried to reinstall the OneDrive application on your computer, but if the problem persists, it may be due to the current system exception. After you have confirmed all the above, if it is the former situation, I recommend you to perform a non-destructive repair on your system:

How to: Perform a Repair Upgrade Using the Windows 11 or Windows 10 ISO file
