Basically just the title. I want the filetype to automatically be .docx so I don't need to set it to that manually.

Go to File > Options > Save and choose "Word Document (*.docx)" in the "Save files in this format" dropdown.

The first time you save a document, the Save dialog will show the *.docx format as the default. You can change it there if you want a different format for that document.

Remember that changing the default file type will apply to new documents that you create (from templates).

If you save an existing document under a new name, Word will usually suggest the same file format as that of the original file.
