I have Microsoft Word for Mac V16.71 2023

My issue that Word has not been showing photos from websites eg recipes from NYT cooking, only the text. Commenters have suggested selecting the Options under File in Word and correcting Photo Placeholder status. However no Options tab shows up under File in Word. Some have answered similar question with "repair" options. Not sure why I am having to repair anything in a Word program I am subscribing to....Suggestions? I am using MacOS Monterey V12.6.4. Thank you. th

As others have suggested, you need to provide specific, detailed information including where you're copying from, what you're copying, which browser you're using [what gets captured when copying depends on the program being used] & the exact steps you're taking.

I, also am using v16.71 of Mac Office & Firefox on Monterey 12.6.4 but have no problem as indicated by this screen shot:

ImageBTW: Picture Placeholders are not available in Mac Office but they have no bearing on this issue whatsoever.

One other thought: Make sure you are using Print Layout View. Images do not display in Draft ot Outline View.

There is a "picture placeholders" option in Word for Windows (but not "Photo Placeholder").

The Options tab is in Word for Windows. On the Mac, it's Preferences.

Thanks to you all. I was using Draft view instead of Print Layout View. 🙃

Your question would be clearer if you included a URL to the source of this advice. There is no "picture placeholder" option in Word for Windows.

I'm not seeing a problem here with pasting a recipe with a photo from the NYT web site. You could try a different browser.

Please post more details, including a URL of a page that shows this problem. You can post screen shots using the Insert image tool:
