Share Microsoft 365 Family subscription outside the Family Group.

Hi!,

Some time ago I shared one MS 365 Family subscription with a family member, and it was listed under the "Other People" group. Now I'm adding a new family member, but the only option I have now is to add it to the "Family Group". I tried sharing with a link and email, both with the same results. I did some research and found that you can share a subscription inside or outside the family group.

Who can I share my Microsoft 365 Family subscription with?

You can share your subscription benefits with up to five other people, (total of 6 people using your subscription). These people can be inside or outside of your family group, and each person can install Office on all their devices and be signed in to Office on five devices at the same time. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/learn-more-about-sharing-your-microsoft-365-family-subscription-155c850a-65b6-4a1a-9b28-b84e16b07bfc

Does any knows how to share a MS 365 Family subscription outside the family circle?

For anyone that reads this thread, the link above has now shows a slightly different message and it no longer indicates you can share outside of your Family Group!!! Incredibly Disappointed at this sneaky move!!!!

This is happening for me too. No longer possibility to add "Other people" to share my subscription without adding to the family group.

Is this a bug or something has changed?

When you click remove you get a clear warning that says the person will lose access to the shared subscription. This is not what we are looking to do. We simply want to share the Microsoft 365 Subscription as was stated in our original agreement when signing up for the plan a few years back. They now require anyone being added to be in position to see personal data I don't want to share even with a family member. I have no desire and neither do my family members to share data, or a calendar. The option to share as a family member is great for those who want it but why can't we continue to share as Other as we were always able to do until recently.

MS is crappy for this. I pay for this every year and they shouldn't be able to change the terms to exclude people until you renew. Otherwise, this makes my subscription a lie.
