How do I get a Language Bar to appear on my desktop?

In a previous edition of Word there was an icon in the lower right corner that allowed me to switch my keyboard from English to Spanish and back again within the same document. That icon no longer appears, Microsoft help makes reference to a Language Bar, but I don't have one.

    Hi BobGustafson!

I hope the language Spanish and English language are added to your language on the Windows PC.

You can press the Windows + Space Bar keys from the keyboard to switch between languages.

If you are unable, Go to settings on your Windows PC> Time and Language> Typing> Turn on Multilingual Suggestion

Also in Word, in Microsoft Word, the language-switching feature is still available, but the interface for accessing it has changed slightly. Here's how you can switch the keyboard language in Word: * Click on the "Review" tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen. * In the "Language" group, click on the "Language Preferences" button. * In the "Language Preferences" dialog box, select "Set Proofing Language". In the "Language" dialog box, select the language you want to use from the list and * click "Set as Preferred". * Click "OK" to close the "Language" dialog box.

Press the Windows + Spacebar keys to switch between languages.

Kindly let me know, if you require additional assistance, I will be glad to help further.

    Best Regards, Shakiru

In Settings, "Turn on Multi-Lingual Suggestion" was not on the "Typing" menu. In Word, when I clicked on "Review", "Language" didn't appear.
