Hi, I'm trying to use the built in excel stock price function to pull in the price for light sweet crude. I've tried searching it in the data selector with no luck. I've tried following the steps inthis tutorialand it can't locate the price using '@CL01.

All the other commodities outlined in this postwork. Did Microsoft remove the ability to pull in crude oil prices on this add-in earlier this year?

figured out Brent and WTI. Use UKOIL and USOIL for those. Still need help on Copper futures, Nickel futures. Also would like to add US Treasury futures. Does anyone know had to get those prices loaded up? Thanks

I wrote an article in the Mr. Excel forum. It contains links to a file and instructions and how to create the Stock Data Types for many tough-to-find symbols, like indexes and commodities.

The article is called 'Stock Data Types searches are Unwieldy'. In case links are allowed in this forum, here it is.

I have to say, this process is so frustrating. Why can't there be a master list we can all search through to find what we need?

Yes, the youtube video is instructing me to enter the symbol '@CL01 using that function but it doesn't recognize it.

I'm able to successfully get it to work for other commodities like natural gas, copper but no luck with oil.

I can't get '@CL0Y or '@HG0Y to work. I can't get Brent to work either. The only commodities that have worked for me are Gold, Silver, Platinum, Natural Gas and Soybeans.
