I wish to install my previously purchased (and installed on my current PC):

Office Home/Student 2013

on my new 2nd-PC and run them (two-PCs) simultaneously on both PCs?

When I try to install my previous-purchase from my MS-Services account, I get to the spot to Download but nothing happens ?

Can I run (one purchase on two PCs that I own.use for my personal business ?

Please advise

    1. I activate both PCs online ? (and do you mean sign-on to my MS Account also on each PC simultaneously)?

0.I mean that you can only activate Office on one computer at a time. But to leave PC1 online whilst installing Office on PC2, so that the Microsoft Servers can see that you have uninstalled Office from PC1.

    1. sign-on to my MS Account to transact my uninstall on to PC1 (PC2 has not signed on to MS Account) ? THEN
    1. You do not need to sign in on you Microsoft Account to uninstall Office. Right click on the Windows Start>Apps & Features>Type Office in the little search box>This will bring up your Office>Click on your Office>Uninstall.
    1. sign-on to PC2 to install ? (should I sign-off my MS Account on PC! before I install on PC2) ?
    1. Leave PC1 online. On PC2 sign into Services & Subscriptions with the Microsoft Account associated with Office here: https://account.microsoft.com/services Click on Install (Copy https://account.microsoft.com/services and put into your browser on PC2 to find Services & Subscriptions.

The only thing I am adding to the below is to leave PC1 online whilst you are installing Office on PC2 from here https://account.microsoft.com/services

After you finish installing, you may be asked to activate Microsoft Office over the phone.

Just to be clear one-time payment versions of like Office Home and Student can only be installed on one computer at a time. It is only Microsoft 365 Personal/Family, that is the subscription base version of Office, that you pay for Monthly or yearly that can be installed on multiple computers.

    Hi 00D,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I am Blessing, an independent advisor here and a Microsoft user like you.

Sorry but you cannot use Office Home and Student 2013 on two PC's. Office 2013 is 1 PC license (that is a single use license). You can buy a license for your second PC.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi RonBarker,

    Do your comments mean that:

    1. I activate both PCs online ? (and do you mean sign-on to my MS Account also on each PC simultaneously)?

    OR

    1. sign-on to my MS Account to transact my uninstall on to PC1 (PC2 has not signed on to MS Account) ? THEN
    2. sign-on to PC2 to install ? (should I sign-off my MS Account on PC! before I install on PC2) ?

    Thank you

Hi yes as you say above. See below from Microsoft. I have found that while you are transferring keep both computers online. This may help Microsoft Servers so that you do not need to contact Microsoft Support to activate Office when installed on PC2. You sign with the Microsoft Account associated with your Office here: https://account.microsoft.com/services same link as in the article below. It is at Services & Subscriptions on your Microsoft Account

    Hi Blessing,

Does that mean I can transfer Office from PC1 to PC2 (only one copy in use on PC2) ?

If so, do I uninstall on PC1 first THEN install on PC2 ?

If so, do I transact this via my MS-Services account ?

If so, what are the step and from which PC do I conduct the sequence?

    Thank you
