How do you open a Notebook on OneNote Android mobile app? All I can see is Create New Notebook. I want open an existing Notebook. I have been all over the App and have not been able to figure out how to do it. For the love of good UX, where's the Open Notebook menu, button, etc?

This is definitely a new problem. Previous versions of OneNote allowed you to open an existing notebook. The most recent versions don't. It's a little mystifying since this is a fairly obvious flaw. You can create new notebooks, but if you move to a new device, you can't open the notebooks you've created.

Please fix ASAP, as currently this previously great tool is useless.

To anyone affected, there is a workaround. If you open the web version of OneNote and open a notebook, it will open it in the OneNote app, at which point it will persist.

Another workaround is to find and open Notebook from OneDrive android app (be default all your notebooks are in the Documents folder in OneDrive).

It will open selected notebook in the OneNote app, at which point that notebook will persist and will be available in OneNote app opened notebooks list.

    Same issue here.

I think everything works fine as long as you use default storage on OneDrive.

So maybe it is not that Microsoft doesn't care about the issue but they prefer to enforce users to stick with their whole ecosystem.

Amazing to see that this issue is still not fixed....

I shared my notebooks with my own mail address and opened the other notebooks via those links in the emails... just another workaround we users have to come up with because nobody seems to care about this topic...
