Anonymous survey that allows company staff to see the responses and vote on supplied responses

Hi guys,

Can anyone advise the best way to provide a feedback survey comprised of a few discrete/strategic questions that allows staff to enter a response to each question, however also have the facility to see already submitted responses and be able to vote/like on already posted responses?

I want the responses to be clear (and make this apparent to responders so they can respond with anonymity).

Cheers.

    Hi Geoff

I'm AnnaThomas and I'd happily help you with your question. In this Forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

One way to provide a feedback survey with anonymous responses is to use an online survey tool such as SurveyMonkey or Microsoft Forms. These tools allow you to create a survey with multiple questions and collect responses anonymously. You can also set up the survey to allow respondents to see already submitted responses and vote or like them.

You can use Microsoft Forms to create an anonymous survey. To make a Microsoft Forms survey anonymous, simply leave out fields that collect identifying information, like names or email addresses, when creating your form. Start by providing any introduction or directions your respondents need for the survey, then jump right into the questions you want them to answer.

I hope this helps ;-), let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions.

    Best Regards,

    AnnaThomas

Microsoft Forms does not have a built-in feature for users to vote on already supplied responses. However, you can achieve this by creating a separate form that displays the responses from the first form and allows users to vote on them.

You can use Microsoft Power Automate to automatically populate the second form with the responses from the first form. This way, users can see the responses and vote on them anonymously.

Alternatively, you can use other survey tools that have this feature built-in. For example, SurveyMonkey has a feature called “Polls” that allows you to create a survey where users can vote on responses. You can set up the poll to be anonymous and allow users to see the results in real time.

    Hi AnnaThomas,

I had already created a form which seemed to work ok but I saw no ability for users to vote on already supplied responses?

Are you able to provide some more direction on how this could be accomplished?

    Geoff.
