drag and drop has stopped working on Excel,

two days ago this feature was working perfectly, yesterday it wasn't anymore. Advice on web is to go to Options, Advanced, however when I click on Options the only option is Regional Format Settings, there are no other options. I've tried F2, Esc, holding Ctrl to try to drag etc,. It dos auto fill, just won't drag. My desktop version works fine, it's just the 365 version.

thanks

    This worked for me. Good Luck: (Windows 10, Microsoft 365, Desktop (not browser version)).

    When in Excel Desktop,

    File -> Options -> Advanced

    There's a section titled, "Editing Options".

    **> Make sure the box right under that is CHECKED ("Enable fill handle and cell drag-and-drop").

    The one under it was checked, as well.

    When that box was NOT checked, I had the problem.

    When I went in and checked that box, I did not.

    No, it does not. I even created a new document and uploaded it to OneDrive. The one on my desktop works fine, but the one I uploaded doesn't.

    Does it help if you close and reopen Excel in the browser?

    If you restart your computer?

    If you only see Regional Settings, you're probably using Excel Online (the browser version).

    The setting that you mention is only available in the desktop version of Excel.
