Hi,
I combined multiple word documents a few months ago. I saved the document as a Word document.
I would like to make some changes to the document, but when I reopened it, all the documents appear as hyperlinks.
Is it possible to make the documents appear again or do I have to recombine them from the originals?
I did export it as a PDF initially, but I don't have Adobe Premier to reconvert it to a Word Document.
Thank you.

Word can open a PDF document. Have you tried opening it with Word.
If you send me a copy of the Word document and the PDF that you created, referencing this thread in the covering email message, I will see if I can recover the documents for you.
Converting documents back and forth gives you awful document structure. Even when a conversion looks fine, behind the scenes, it is a mess. If you want to edit a Word document in the future, keep it a Word document. You can still use the pdf for distribution.
Do you have the originals?
If so, try Boiler - Insert a selection of documents by Graham Mayor, MVP.
Thanks Charles,
I have all the originals, plus the combined document as a Word document as well.
When I open the combined Word Document, all the documents appear as Hyperlinks. Do you know if there is a way to correct this?
Thanks for your help :-)
I have no idea how that happened and do not know of a way to correct it.
It sounds like you added as links.
You could try pressing Alt+F9 to toggle display of field codes. If that does not help, be sure to press it again to toggle this setting back.
