Wrap Text not working in Publisher

I have Office 365 through my company and have Publisher. I'm not super savvy with it, but am doing okay converting an email newsletter to Publisher. Where I'm stuck is I have a photo I need to wrap the text around. I have tried dropping the photo on top of the text - I've tried clicking on wrap text and selecting my options. Nothing works - the photo just sits there on top of the text. Is it broken, or am I doing something wrong?

Thank you for your reply. Based on your instructions, I found the problem. I had been putting the text directly into a table. But when I drew a text box and put the text in that, it worked perfectly. Thank you!

    Dear Susan,

Good day!! Thanks for posting your concern in this Microsoft Community.

Per the description shared, I would like to summarize your concern i.e., you are using the Wrap Text feature in the Publisher where it doesn’t work as expected.

If my understanding is correct, I have tested the behavior in the latest version of Semi-Annual enterprise channel, where when I insert the Picture into the Text box and selected the inserted picture to select the Square as a Text wrap, it works perfectly, and I also tested the behavior by selecting other options in the Text wrap and I didn’t find any issue.

So, I would like you to open a new blank Publisher file and follow the below steps:

Open the new Publisher file> Draw a text box> Insert a picture into the Text box> Select the Picture> Picture Format> Wrap text and select the Square> Now at the top of the image in the Text box, please enter the text and see whether the Text is entering around without moving the image.

Moreover, can you please provide the Account page of Publisher? Open the Publisher> Account> Take a screenshot and share it with us

Thanks for your understanding and patience.

    Sincerely,

    Mia | Microsoft Moderator
